Elected officials are not like you and me…
They’re ever so much dumber:
[Republican Senator James] Inhofe informed [Robot Al] Gore that scientists are “radically at odds with your claims.” Displaying a photograph of icicles in Buffalo, Inhofe demanded: “How come you guys never seem to notice it when it gets cold? . . . Where is global warming when you really need it?”
Now, Inhofe has a notorious case of teh stupid, so perhaps it’s unfair to smear all elected officials with the same brush… but, damn! That’s some weapons grade idiocy.
(As an aside, I’m no Al Gore fan, but read the article and admire the way he dealt with the dipshits who challenged him. He kicked their teeth in.)
