The masses definitely do not take to serious political commentary. My recent post on Zimbabwe, which I mistakenly assumed would be interesting to my readers on the basis that it is interesting to me, received zero comments. Then later in the day I get tanked up on some homemade wine given to me (probably illegally**) by a friend, and post something short and stupid, and the comments come rolling in.
** The whole scenario is as crooked as the day is long.

I hear you. I too think Zimbabwe is an interesting topic, but I don’t have anything funny to say about it, so I pretty much shut my pie hole.
