For all retentive porpoises

Over the last few days I have heard the following variations of “For all intents and purposes” on sports radio:

  • For all intensive purposes
  • For all incense and purposes
  • For all in tents and purporteds
  • For every intend and purpose
  • For all intended purposes
  • To all intents in purposes

The one variation of it that I haven’t heard is the actual saying, “For all intents and purposes.”
