I shall try to find the clip, but I remember Bill Maher showing a video of a tearful Todd Bertuzzi apologizing to everyone after the Moore incident, and he said something along the lines of this: “I’m so, so sorry. I really am. This is not the way I play the game of hockey.”
Then a quick cut back to Bill Maher: “Um, apparently, it IS.”
Todd Bertuzzi’s suspension should have lasted for as long as Moore was sidelined.
You know what they say about humour? For it to be really funny, it has to have truth in it. No wonder you found that headline funny.

Being a Colorado Avalanche fan, Bertuzzi has never been in high standing with me. Frankly, I think he should have been banned from the game for what he did to Moore, and never played another second.

Being an Oilers fan, I am provisionally delighted* that the Flames have decided to waste cap and roster space in the hopes that Bertuzzi will somehow bounce back.
* I shall be less delighted if, against all odds, he does bounce back.
