Y’know, I’ve watched this a couple of times (at work, no less – safer than home) and I think I have to weigh in and pronounce that it’s just not edgy or profane enough.
The guy who did it is pretty interesting. He’s a poet and spoken-word artist who doesn’t like to be called a rapper (in fact, I think his website is notarapper.com). I’ve been following his Twitter feed and he’s also very, very funny.
Profane and edgy, yes, but it’s biting satire on more than one level. And, I admit, the way he says “It’s called Speed Stick. It’s not expensive” cracks me up every time.
