New Year’s Resolution
Inspired by Reg and Eddie, I have decided to attempt to grow sideburns for the first time. Over the years I’ve had a mustache, and up until November I had a Van Dyke for close to 5 years, but sideburns have always eluded me due to a bit of a bare patch between my hairline and my beardline.
But, having not shaved at all for about 10 days, I decided to give it a go. I shall post pictures if I ever amass sufficient facial foliage to earn Lord Reginald’s respect.

I too suffer from the bare patch, which is tragic as I would grow the largest set of mutton chops ever if the growth were continuous. It only really works when my hair is on the shaggy side, which is almost never.
On the bright side, remaining clean shaven, I still look like I’m in my early 20s.
Sporkless, of course, is much less evolved than we are and therefore has to shave thrice daily. And his sideburns are as manly as Brady Anderson’s, if you get what I mean.
Best of luck, Krankor. Your fans look forward to seeing some intense facial foliage, and all that.

Yeah, yeah – the burns are pretty short nowadays, i.e., not nearly as cool as Brady Anderson. And not in the same time zone as Reg and Eddie.

You tripping over your sideburns yet, Tundra Boy?

Lamentably, the Great Muttonchops Challenge of 2010 came to an abrupt end on or about January 2.
They looked great, except they stubbornly refused to go anywhere near my hairline. They were basically little islands of whiskers, defiantly seceding from the oppressive mainland of hair. Or something.
